Summary of the first "Artistic Talent - Lao Cai Province Students" contest

On the afternoon of April 13, the Department of Education and Training held the summary of the first "Artistic Talent - Lao Cai Province Students" contest, 2025.

Attending were leaders of the Department of Education and Training; teachers, parents and more than 200 candidates from schools across the province.

The first “Artistic Talent - Lao Cai Province Students” contest took place over 3 days (April 10 - 13), with the participation of 232 contestants from primary, secondary, high schools and vocational education and training centers in 9 districts, towns and cities.

Contestants competed in art categories including: singing, dancing, instrumental performance, ballroom dancing and modern dance.

The contestants brought to the contest unique and attractive performances.

Previously, schools organized preliminary rounds to select talented students with a passion for art, meeting the criteria to form a provincial competition team.

Over the course of three days, the contestants brought to the competition many unique and attractive singing, dancing and music performances. The performances were highly appreciated for their artistry, elaborate investment, rich content and performance form; many performances were professional and clearly artistic.

The performances were elaborately staged.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 17 First prizes; 48 Second prizes; 80 Third prizes and 43 Encouragement prizes to the contestants.

The contest is a useful playground for students to express their passion for art, maintain the cultural and artistic movement at school; contribute to preserving and promoting the national cultural identity, especially the culture of ethnic minorities in Lao Cai province.

At the same time, this is an opportunity to search for and discover students with outstanding talents in the fields of art, culture and literature. Thereby, nurturing and selecting core members to participate in the school and local art movement activities.
