Attractive cultural exchange between Vietnamese and Lao students

On the evening of May 26, at the subdivision of Thai Nguyen University in Lao Cai, the cultural exchange program between Vietnamese and Lao students took place. This was the activity in the program of Friendship Exchange between Lao Cai province and the Lao Embassy and students in Vietnam.
Overview of the exchange.

Attending the exchange were Mr. Shengphet Hung-bunnuong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Van Doanh, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations; over 200 Lao international students living and studying in Hanoi and Lao Cai.

On the side of Lao Cai province, there were Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, divisions and branches of the province.

The subdivision of Thai Nguyen University in Lao Cai currently has over 1,200 full-time students and over 2,000 students from other training systems; in which, there are 12 Lao international students studying under the Agreement between the two governments and the cooperation program of Lao Cai province and Bo Keo province (Laos). They are all given favorable conditions to study, exchange and study about Vietnamese culture and people in general, Lao Cai in particular and vice versa.

In the exchange program, there were 16 unique cultural performances by students of the two countries Vietnam - Laos performed on the stage, the performances were all imbued with the traditional culture of each country. Through the exchange, Vietnamese students in general, students of the subdivision of Thai Nguyen University in Lao Cai in particular and Lao international students had the opportunity to study, exchange and share about the culture and people, homeland, country, contributing to enhance the friendship and solidarity of the two peoples of Vietnam - Laos.
