Launching the Online Book Introduction Contest 2021 with the theme 'The Book I Love'

In order to contribute to the revival of reading culture, diversify forms of reading, spread the passion for reading in the community and meet the requirements of digital transformation to serve the people, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized for the 2021 Online Book Introduction contest with the topic: "The book I love".

The contest will contribute to connecting and inspiring the passion of reading for Vietnamese people.

With the theme "The book I love", the Online Book Introduction Contest is aimed at people who are studying, working and living in Vietnam (6 years old and up). Individuals participate in the competition by creating an introductory video clip, sharing their feelings about one or more favourite books and having a positive impact on themselves.

According to the rules, the video clips for the contest are presented in Vietnamese (English subtitles can be added). The book introduced in the video clip is a book published in Vietnam, which does not violate the provisions of law.

The content and images of the video clips are healthy, pure, and suitable to the fine customs, traditions and culture of Vietnam; do not post false information, violate copyright, related rights, affect information security and other relevant laws.

The length of the clip is minimum 5 minutes, maximum is 10 minutes, saved in popular formats such as mp4, avi, mpeg, mkv, klv...

Each contestant can submit one or more video clips to the contest. Video clips that have entered the contest in the previous round will not be re-entered in the next round. Video clips must not have been uploaded to any website or entered into any other contest.

Time to receive video entries from July 1, 2021 to July 26, 2021, at the email address: sachvatritueviet.vtv@gmail.com or send it to the Library Department, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 51 Ngo Quyen, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. The time for posting and voting is from 10:00 on September 6 to 10:00 on September 20, 2021.

The videos are publicly voted, and the voting results will be the basis for the Organizing Committee to evaluate and rank the prizes. Entries are scored through online voting for views, likes and shares on the Youtube channel " Books and Vietnamese Wisdom."

The results of the contest will be announced on the channel "Books and Vietnamese Wisdom" and announced to the winners. The closing ceremony and awarding ceremony is expected to be held in November 2021 in Hanoi city.

The Organizing Committee is expected to award 1 Special prize, 3 First prizes, 6 Second prizes, 10 Third prizes and 20 Consolation prizes for quality video clips. In addition, candidates are also given books and other valuable gifts corresponding to the achieved prizes.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Online Book Introduction Contest 2021 will contribute to connecting and inspiring the love of reading for Vietnamese people, thereby developing a reading culture and spreading knowledge in the community. arousing the aspiration to develop the country.
