Opening ceremony of Bac Ha White Plateau Festival in autumn 2022

On the evening of September 17, the People's Committee of Bac Ha district held the opening ceremony of the Bac Ha White Plateau Festival in the autumn of 2022 with the theme "Golden Autumn Fragrance".

Attending the program were Mr. Vu Van Cai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Giang Thi Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, devisions and branches of the province and some localities in the province.

Bac Ha White Plateau Festival Autumn 2022 will take place in 6 days, from September 13 to the end of September 18 with a series of events taking place in Bac Ha and Si Ma Cai districts such as the General Sports Tourism Award to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the liberation of Bac Ha (September 20, 1950 - September 20, 2022); Festival "Fragrance nuggets in the White Plateau"; Folk dance contest and performance of traditional costumes of ethnic groups; series of autumn events at Hoang A Tuong residence.

This is a unique tourism product of Bac Ha land, thereby contributing to promoting the local's potential, and at the same time creating opportunities to learn, exchange and promote the spirit of physical training and sports of the ethnic groups; connecting local cultures to develop sustainable tourism.

Bac Ha aims to welcome 350,000 - 400,000 visitors by the end of 2022, of which the Bac Ha White Plateau Festival in the autumn is expected to welcome 30,000 visitors to visit and experience.
