Brocade colours brighten the streets of Sa Pa
Sa Pa Ward burst into colour on the afternoon of August 30 with a street carnival parade, a major highlight of the first Northwest Brocade Carnival.
The programme was led by the Sa Pa Tourism Development and Heritage Management Board in coordination with BIGALLY Brocade Fashion Joint Stock Company. At its centre was a parade of five artistic floats celebrating the distinctive cultures of five ethnic groups: Red Dao, Mong, Tay, Giay and Xa Pho.
