Nearly 100 athletes registered to climb Lao Tham mountain

The fourth climbing tournament to conquer the top of Lao Tham, Bat Xat district, will take place on November 28. Up to now, nearly 100 athletes have registered to participate.

Implementing Plan No. 269 / KH-UBND dated 12/10 of the provincial People's Committee on stimulating demand, promoting, promoting and building tourism products to restore Lao Cai tourism growth from the fourth quarter of 2020, the district People's Committee Bat Xat decided to organize the fourth mountain climbing tournament to conquer Lao Tham peak.

The top of Lao Tham mountain, 2,860m high, belongs to Y Ty commune, Bat Xat district with majestic natural scenery, is one of the symbols of Bat Xat tourism in particular and Lao Cai in general. The fourth climbing tournament to conquer the top of Lao Tham is organized to create a playground for training, improve health, develop sports movements, especially mountain climbing. Through the prize to promote the beautiful image, unique tourist destination of Bat Xat, thereby attracting more tourists, promoting investment attraction for tourism and Bat Xat services.

The prize structure includes: 1 First prize, 1 Second prize, 1 Third prize, 7 bronze prizes for women in the district, women outside the district, men in the district and men outside the district.
