Resources to contribute to building a new countryside

In addition to the creative ways of each locality, an important factor promoting the implementation of new rural criteria in Bao Thang district is the resources from the Social Policy Bank (Social Policy) loans for poor households and beneficiaries. Other policies have opportunities for economic development, contributing to achieving the criteria of a new rural district in 2020.

From the policy credit source, many households have invested in economic development.

Five years ago, Pham Thi Tham's family (Tien Loi village, Xuan Giao commune) borrowed 30 million VND from the Social Policy Bank of Bao Thang district to invest in industrial chicken farming. While raising and learning experiences and raising effectively, Ms. Tham gradually paid off her old loan and boldly borrowed an additional 50 million VND from the Social Policy Bank to expand chicken and pig breeding facilities in combination with growing fruit trees. In 2 years (2018 - 2019), each year, she raises more than 20,000 chickens and 10 sows to reproduce to actively source breeds. Currently, each year, Tham's family maintains 3 batches of broiler chickens (each batch of 8-10 thousand), 10 sows and 100 porkers. In addition to breeding, she planted 1.5 hectares of fruit trees (dragon fruit, pomelo, jackfruit). Every year, subtracting expenses, the family has a stable profit of more than 500 million dong.

Getting out of poverty thanks to the policy credit, in 2012, Ms. Nguyen Thi Du's family (Chinh Tien village, Gia Phu commune) borrowed 30 million dong of loan for poor households from Bao Thang district Social Policy Bank to buy a pair cows for breeding. With 2 pairs of breeding cows, she boldly borrowed an additional 50 million VND from the loan of near poor households to invest in a farm to raise chickens, swans and plant forests. In 2019, the average income of the district reached 41.5 million VND / person, the poverty rate was 6.95%.
