Large numbers of delegates, residents and visitors attended the Long Khanh Temple Festival.

During the ceremonial programme, delegates, residents and visitors enjoyed distinctive arts performances and heard a review of the temple's history, development and significance in the cultural and spiritual life of local people.

Long Khanh Temple in Long Khanh Village, Phuc Khanh Commune, Lao Cai Province, is dedicated to the local tutelary deity and district chief Tang Han Bao, who led residents in resistance against the Black Flag forces around the mid-19th century and helped protect the peace of the local community.

The temple was recognized as a provincial historical-cultural relic in 2018. Restoration work began in late 2018 and was completed in 2020.
