Si Ma Cai: First time organizing the White Pear Flower Festival

On March 5, in Lao Chai village, the People's Committee of Quan Ho Than commune, Si Ma Cai district held the first White Pear Flower Festival in 2022.

The festival has attracted many tourists to visit and admire the pristine beauty of pear flowers in the Si Ma Cai mountains.

Quan Ho Than commune has over 300 hectares of temperate fruit trees, of which 160 hectares of pear trees have a lot of potential for tourism. With the aim of finding a new direction in production development for the people, the People's Committee of the commune has boldly opened the direction of agricultural tourism development and promoted the local endemic products as well as the traditional culture of the Hmong people here.

This is the first time Quan Ho Than commune has organized the White Pear Flower Festival, which was scheduled to take place from March 5 to March 15, 2022.

The festival took place many activities such as the program "Watching Spring flower - Picking Summer fruit"; Mong ethnic culture exhibition with typical products, labor tools, ethnic musical instruments, traditional costumes... cultural programs, traditional arts such as Mong folk songs, Khen dance, making money ...; push-pull, tug-of-war competition...
