Attractive activities at Bac Ha White Plateau Festival in 2022

Bac Ha White Plateau Festival - A series of spring-summer events will take place from April 8 to 10, 2022 at the campus of Hoang A Tuong Mansion with many unique and attractive activities for visitors to experience.

1. Love and Rose Festival

Time: From April 8 to April 10, 2022.

Location: Hoang A Tuong Mansion, Bac Ha town.

The festival opens at 10:00 a.m. on April 9, 2022 at the campus of Hoang A Tuong mansion with attractive art performance program. In addition, the festival has many activities with the highlight of rose display by theme such as: Welcoming gate space "Rose Dream"; "Love Garden" space  with romantic and colorful ancient roses and yellow chrysanthemums; experience space “Rose Castle”, “Love Road”…

In addition, the festival also had many activities to introduce Bac Ha specialties; "Brocade and gifts" Exhibition. Within the framework of the festival, visitors could also enjoy special art programs and unique folk songs and dances of ethnic minorities with Then singing and Round dancing such as: "Love colors" (on the evening of April 9); cultural program "Self-love song of highland people" (from April 8 to April 10). And the highlight was special art program called "Love colors" with special musical performances. Visitors participating in the program were "Giving words of love" by writing messages to their loved ones on different colored paper that the organizers had prepared. These papers have then been hung on the persimmon tree at Hoang A Tuong Mansion for the duration of the festival.

2. Reenactment of the highland market.

Time: From April 8 to April 10, 2022.

Location: Hoang A Tuong Mansion’s Backyard.

Bac Ha fair market is the largest fair market with simple features in the northern provinces. This is also unique culture that is not mixed with any other place. The fair market space will be recreated right in Hoang A Tuong Mansion. Visitors will have the opportunity to visit and experience the highland market and enjoy the dishes right at the market such as square cake, horse bone soup, sour rice soup, colorful sticky rice, sweet cake made of glutinous rice... In particular, visitors can also enjoy and experience the process of making corn wine with Hong Mi yeast.
