The Art Photo Contest "Bat Xat Tourism Beauty" in 2021

The Art Photo Contest "Bat Xat Tourism Beauty" in 2021 aims to contribute to promoting the images: The typical beauties of the natural landscape, the identity of cultural and people of Bat Xat ethnic groups to all the people in the country and all around the world; record beautiful moments in daily life, labor and production; tourists experience, discover, and immerse themselves in the lives of ethnic minorities in Bat Xat…

All Vietnamese citizens; Vietnamese abroad; Foreigners who are working and living in Vietnam (ensure civil act capacity) have the right to submit art works to the competition.

Each author can submit no more than 10 art works of color or black and white photos, digital files, jpg image files; the author uses only one name, if the author uses the stage name, the real name must be included in the identity card; contest photos are in the form of digital files, from 3 to 6Mb in size; contest photos must be taken in Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province (no limit on taking time). 

The art works will go through 3 rounds of judging, in order to choose the best 11 works (according to the scores from high to low) to be posted on the District Portal for public comments from September 15^th to September 20^th, 2021. 

The organizing committee will award 1 First prize worth 10 million dong; 2 Second prizes, each prize worth 8 million dong; 3 Third prizes, each worth 5 million dong; 5 Consolation prizes, each prize worth 2 million dong. The winning works will be honored and displayed on the occasion of the establishment of the Bat Xat District Party Committee on October 10^th, 2021. Time to receive works from the contest launch date to September 10^th, 2021.

Songwriting Campaign about Bat Xat in 2021

The organizing committee hopes that the songwriting campaign about Bat Xat in 2021 will contribute to cheering and encouraging the people of Bat Xat district to emulate production labor; ignite pride, love for the homeland and country, promote the heroic tradition; praise the achievements of the Party Committee, the government, the cultural identity, the socio-economic development, and the construction of the new rural area of the district…

Professional and non-professional musicians inside and outside the province, authors who are Vietnamese citizens living in the country and abroad, have the right to participate in the contest. 

Contest songs need to have high ideological and artistic quality; praising and showing prominently the typical beauty of Bat Xat land and people, honoring cultural traditions, revolutionary traditions, reflecting cultural identities of ethnic groups, homeland, nature, people, potential and strengths of Bat Xat; demonstrating the achievements that the Party Committee, administration and people of ethnic groups in Bat Xat district have been achieving in various sectors; encouraging the creation of themes on building the Party and administration, building new rural, developing tourism, uniting ethnic groups, protecting the environment; creating new ideas in melodies, lyrics, methods of expression and exploiting folk songs of ethnic groups living in the district…

Each author participating in the launch can submit up to 3 works that are complete songs with full music and lyrics. The work must be clearly typed or handwritten on A4 size paper. Authors attach Demo CD or Demo soft copy (audio file); The organizing committee encourages works that have been staged, remixed and recorded. Authors do not write their full names, names, and pseudonyms in CD and floppy works.

Works participating in the Campaign must be new songs, have never been published in any form, have no copyright disputes and must not be submitted to other contests/campaigns.
