The Lao Cai working delegation included leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade, the Economic Zone Management Board and the provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center.

This year, Lao Cai took part with four booths managed by the provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center. Themed “Lao Cai – Connection and Development,” the pavilion featured a modern design showcasing signature products, processed farm goods and the province's key export items. On opening day, the pavilion drew large crowds of visitors exploring the products, building trade links and seeking business-cooperation opportunities.

Taking part in the fair has helped promote Lao Cai's image, potential and strengths to international partners, broadening opportunities for trade promotion and new consumer markets for the province's flagship products. It also gives local businesses a chance to strengthen ties with Chinese and regional companies, boost import-export activity through the province's border gates, and enhance economic and trade cooperation between Lao Cai and Yunnan and other Chinese localities.
