The delegation of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee attended the opening ceremony of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

On the morning of January 20, the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam solemnly opened at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), with the participation of 1,586 delegates representing more than 5.6 million Party members nationwide.

The Congress's theme was "Under the glorious banner of the Party, we unite our efforts and determination to successfully achieve the national development goals by 2030; to be self-reliant, confident, and to advance strongly in the era of national progress, for peace, independence, democracy, prosperity, civilization, happiness, and to steadily advance towards socialism."

The delegation from the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee attending the Congress consists of 34 members. Mr. Trinh Viet Hung - Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - leads the delegation.
