On the morning of August 13, the Provincial People's Committee organized a dialogue conference between the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the youth of Lao Cai province in 2023 with the theme: “Youth starting a business, starting a business from local strengths and applying digital transformation in learning, starting a business, and starting a business with young people”.

At the conference, leaders of the Department of Home Affairs gave an overview of the current youth situation. Accordingly, young people currently account for nearly 20% of the province's population. Determining that accompanying young people in starting and establishing a business is one of the key tasks, in recent years, party committees and authorities at all levels have always paid attention to creating many conditions and opportunities to grow up and establish their career in their own homeland.

Currently, the province maintains the Lao Cai Provincial Youth Startup Club with 37 members who are key union officials, young entrepreneurs, cooperative leaders, and good production and business development models owned by young people. The whole province has 124/127 communes that have youth savings and loan groups. The total outstanding balance of entrusted loans from the Bank for Social Policies managed by all levels of unions is over 842 billion VND with 16,829 households with outstanding loans.

Career counseling and employment support activities for young people are of interest. Many forms and solutions to support information, knowledge, and skills for young startups through competitions and startup forums, thereby connecting startup ideas with potential investors is implemented; Make good use of loan sources, support young people in economic development, create jobs, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty...

In the democratic and open atmosphere, many issues are of interest to union members and young people, asking questions to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and departments and branches. Opinions of union members and youth focused on main groups of issues including: solutions and capital support mechanisms for youth economic development; vocational training, career guidance, job creation; solutions for young people to access and apply science and technology to digital transformation in production and business; Necessary conditions for young people to access loans; support mechanism for small and medium-sized enterprises and youth-owned cooperatives; international economic cooperation....

Currently, in Muong Khuong district, there are many youth-owned start-up and business models and models that bring high economic efficiency. However, the bottleneck for young people in the startup process is capital. Many young people have difficulty finding capital, leading to giving up midway. Would you please let the provincial leaders know what channels youth can mobilize and what conditions are necessary for youth to access loans?
