Lao Cai has 2 winning works of the Essay Writing Contest on Defending the ideological foundation of the Party

In collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, at the awarding ceremony for the second essay writing contest on Defending the Party's ideological foundation and combating false and hostile views, 2022 held by The Central Propaganda Department on October 23 in Hanoi, Lao Cai province, was honored to have two works honored and awarded prizes.

Mr. Duong Duc Huy, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of 35 Lao Cai provinces, represented the provincial leaders to attend the awarding ceremony.

Representatives of the author group Do Thi Thu Hien, Ho Mai Phuong, Hoang Dinh Quyet (Propaganda Department of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee) received the contest prize.

"People's happiness is the Communist Party's goal," by authors Do Thi Thu Hien, Ho Mai Phuong, and Hoang Dinh Quyet, was one of two winning works in the category of Magazines (Provincial Propaganda Department). The author of "Van Ban: Defending the Party - Responsibility from the Root," Phung Le Duyen (Van Ban District Party Committee), won the Prospect Award in the category of Print Newspaper.

Comrade Duong Duc Huy, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee and representatives of 2 groups of authors from Lao Cai attended the award ceremony.

Lao Cai is one of the provinces and cities that implemented the contest methodically and seriously, and received enthusiastic participation from a large number of officials and party members in the province. The authors submitted over 100 typical works to compete in the main competition.

The Steering Committee of 35 Lao Cai provinces is expected to organize the provincial competition awarding program in 2022. This is an opportunity to recognize and honor collectives with typical achievements in directing, launching, as well as authors with outstanding works in the province's contest, while also launching the contest in 2023.
