People can easily download the updated Laocai-smart application on the CH Play app store, the App Store with very low capacity and no installation cost, just need a smartphone or tablet using Android and iOS operating systems. This application is built with a user-friendly and easy-to-use configuration, opening a massive utility store full of information of Lao Cai province.

The government's digital application, Laocai - smart brings many interesting and convenient experiences for citizens.

Users can experience the application with fast access, receive official information about political, socio-economic events of the province in a timely manner. The monthly direction, administration of the government and information about the local situation helps users to be satisfied when using this application. Ms. Tran Thi Mai Quynh, residing in group 20, Bac Cuong ward (Lao Cai city) and her family members have downloaded and used the application for a while. Mrs. Quynh said: Although I have just accessed the application, I find it very useful because I can integrate a lot of content on a compact phone, easy to look up.

Laocai-smart application is a digital government solution implemented by Lao Cai province on smart devices. Recently, the number of people using smart phones in Lao Cai is increasing, most adults have used smartphones. The application is a combination of many electronic utilities with an easy-to-view and easy-to-use configuration, contributing to limiting the situation that people have to use too many applications on their phones as before.

Mr. Tang Van Hanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications said: In 2021, the department has advised to deploy this technology solution to innovate the way people communicate with public authorities. The application consists of two main components, digital citizenship and digital government, integrating many functions such as news, government, electronic office public services, electronic one-stop shop and many other cultural utilities, social, medical, etc. Thereby supporting officers, civil servants and public employees to monitor, process and solve work right on hand-held smart devices. At the same time, people are also provided with and looked up information about Lao Cai quickly and easily.

The special and extremely convenient for citizens is that they can pay for electricity, water, tuition and experience many other interesting utilities right on the application platform. The application even integrates filing, receiving administrative procedure results anywhere, anytime, without going to the departments for handling administrative procedures.

Currently, the application is still in the testing phase, basically only a few officials and civil servants use it. As planned, by the end of March this year, the application will be deployed on a large scale. Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications Tang Van Hanh said that agencies and localities need to direct cadres, civil servants, public employees and people to take advantage of the application to install it. The local government directs villages and residential groups to propagate widely and help people better understand digital government and the benefits that digital government brings to them.
