Inauguration of the first community reading library in Lao Cai city

On May 31, the first community reading library in Lao Cai city officially opened in the small park area of residential group 7, Nam Cuong ward. This is a project implemented by the Party Cell and mass organizations of Residential Group 7 to create a space for learning, entertainment and spreading reading culture in the community.

 

The public reading library covers an area of nearly 80 square meters, designed in an open space model with huts and tables and chairs for reading. Currently, the library is displaying more than 300 books in many different fields such as science, social life, history, politics and famous people...

In addition, the library also provides magazines, newsletters and printed newspapers of a number of central and local news agencies and newspapers to serve the people's need to read news and update information.

The community library in residential group number 7 has more than 300 books to serve the people.

In particular, the children's reading area is arranged with many attractive textbooks, reference books and comics, creating a fun and healthy learning and entertainment space for children.

On this occasion, Party Cell of Residential Group No. 7 presented gifts to students living in the residential group with excellent achievements in the 2024-2025 school year.

The community library project in residential group 7 was built with a total cost of more than 50 million Vietnamese Dong from socialized sources and labor contributions from local residents. This is not only a place to serve the reading needs but also a cultural highlight contributing to building a rich spiritual life for local people.
